Diamond Jubilee

We had a get-together with the neighbours on Saturday. The bunting went up, chairs and tables were brought out. Everyone brought food, and some were dressed up in red-white and blue. There were about 30 of us, with one playing music whilst we sat and chatted. Then we toasted the Queen.

With sadness

I hear of a friend’s loss, her sister to cancer, leaving two young children. I don’t know what to say. It is just so sad.
